Impact Awards Brunch: A Fundraiser and Tribute to Community Leaders
On Saturday, April 28, 2018, MCDAF will host the Impact Awards Brunch: A Fundraiser and Tribute to Community Leaders. The brunch will take place at the Argyle Country Club, located at 14600 Argyle Club Road, Silver Spring, MD 20906, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Join us as we honor a select group of individuals and/or organizations whose dedication and community engagement have made significant contributions to the Montgomery County community. Honorees will be awarded one of the following Impact Awards: the Education Award, the Advocacy Award, or the Trailblazer Award (more details below).
Expect to enjoy a full brunch, silent auction, cash bar, lively entertainment, and an inspiring message from NBC4 News Correspondent Tracie Potts.

Montgomery County community leaders will be awarded in the following categories:
- Education – leader who has made significant contributions in the field of education that benefit Montgomery County residents
- Advocacy – leader who promotes solutions that improve the lives of Montgomery County residents
- Trailblazer- emerging community leader with success in noteworthy and sustainable changes in the community
In accordance with IRS regulations, the amount of the contribution that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess above the fair market value of any goods or services provided by MCDAF, Incorporated. Tax-deductible amount for an individual ticket: $25.
