Impact Awards Brunch: A Fundraiser and Tribute to Community Leaders

Thank you to all of our guests and supporters of the 2018 MCDAF Impact Awards Brunch who helped to make it a “SOLD-OUT” event.  Because of you, we are able to further our mission to support community programs and to provide scholarships to Montgomery County students.

We congratulate the esteemed 2018 Impact Award honorees: Dr. Yvette Butler-Yeboah (Education Impact Award), Catherine S. Leggett (Advocacy Impact Award), Rev. Dr. Rosetta Robinson (Trailblazer Award), and Ruby Rubens (Education Impact Award).  Your contributions to our community will always be celebrated.

Congratulations to the winners of both the silent auction and live auction, and thank you for your enthusiastic participation!

AmazonSmile LogoMCDAF is so excited to be part of the AmazonSmile family!  In case you have never used AmazonSmile, here is how it works: Simply click on the AmazonSmile button, login, and shop.  It’s just that simple! Don’t worry; you can use your existing Amazon account or easily create a new one, if necessary.  Once you login, you will be able to choose from the tens of millions of products that are eligible for donations.  The best part is that Amazon will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from all of your eligible purchases.  So, the more you shop, the more Amazon donates, and the more MCDAF can help the community!  Happy shopping!

Race to 500 Social Media Campaign

Race to 500

The Montgomery County (MD) Delta Alumnae Foundation, Inc. (MCDAF) has officially launched Race to 500, a campaign to increase MCDAF’s supporter base by expanding its social media presence.  Of course, having more supporters means MCDAF can provide more grants, scholarships, and support for public service programs for underserved residents of the Montgomery County community. Please join us as we endeavor to reach 500 “likes” on our Facebook page and 500 “followers” on our Twitter page by June 30, 2019.

All we are asking you to do are three simple things:

  1. Like us at,
  2. Follow us at, and
  3. Invite your friends and followers to do the same.

With that said, MCDAF would sincerely like to thank you and all of our loyal supporters. You should be extremely proud of what you have helped us accomplish over the past 18 years. Let us continue to do more to help those in need.
